Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and MB Grikis ir Pušis ("we", "us"), the operator of Lunar Log. By using Lunar Log you agree to them. We have tried to keep them short and in plain language.

Lunar Log is being prepared for launch. Before public launch, its operation may transfer to a successor company set up for it; if that happens, these terms carry over unchanged and we will update the name here.

What Lunar Log is

Lunar Log is a dream journal: an app for recording dreams by text or voice, organizing them, and — with a Pro subscription — enriching them with AI-powered transcription, titles, interpretations, images, and conversations with Luna, our dream companion.

Your account — or none

You can use Lunar Log in local mode without an account, in which case your journal stays on your device. Creating an account enables sync and, with Pro, the AI features. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where local law requires) to create an account.

Your content is yours

Everything you put into Lunar Log — your dreams, recordings, notes, people, places, and images you upload — belongs to you. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the service: to store your content, sync it between your devices, back it up, and process it with the features you choose to use (for example sending a dream's text for interpretation when you request one). We claim no other rights to it, we do not use it to train AI models, and the license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You can export your complete journal at any time, for free, from Settings. Export is not, and will never be, a paid feature.

AI features are reflections, not advice

Interpretations, Luna's replies, generated titles, and dream images are produced by artificial intelligence. They are offered for reflection, self-exploration, and enjoyment. They can be wrong, incomplete, or unsettling, and they are not medical, psychological, legal, or any other kind of professional advice. Lunar Log is not a healthcare product and is no substitute for one. If you are struggling — with nightmares, sleep, or anything else — please talk to a qualified professional.

AI-generated interpretations of the same dream may differ between runs, and transcriptions of voice recordings may contain errors. Review anything important.

Pro subscription

Some features require Lunar Log Pro, an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store:

• Prices, billing periods, and any free trial or introductory offer are shown in the app before you buy. - Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. - You can manage or cancel the subscription anytime in your App Store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. - Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. - Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules. If you are a consumer in the EU, you acknowledge that access to Pro begins immediately, and any statutory withdrawal right is exercised through Apple.

Your journal never depends on paying us: if your subscription ends, you keep every dream, and sync and export keep working on the free tier.

Acceptable use

Do not use Lunar Log to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to attempt to breach or overload our systems, or to reverse engineer the service except where law permits. Do not use the AI features to generate content that is illegal or that harasses or harms others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

Our content

The app itself — its design, code, articles, and other content we provide — belongs to us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on your devices; they do not transfer any ownership in it.

Ending things

You can stop using Lunar Log at any time and delete your account (and all its data) from Settings. We may terminate or suspend the service or your account for material breach of these terms, and we may discontinue the service with reasonable advance notice — in which case you will have the opportunity to export your journal first.

Disclaimers and liability

Lunar Log is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, and our total liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer, which remain unaffected.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Lunar Log and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you additionally keep the protection of any mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring disputes before your local courts. The EU online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect; continuing to use Lunar Log after that means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top always reflects the latest version.
